The National Academies of Science, a notoriously serious organization, is now selling H1N1 ("swine flu") tschochkes.
"Soft and cuddly, this H1N1 Microbe is the only virus you'll want to give or receive this season."
"Made from polyester fiber. Recommended for ages 3 and up."
The toy costs $7.20, which is less than the cost of a vaccine. Given troubles the government has been having with vaccine distribution, it may be easier to get the toy.
